It should be no surprise that ship-shaped Batory centre is named after and inspired by the passenger ship that transported Poles to and from New York, USA from the nearby port in Gdynia. As for what you can find on each deck, ground floor is a food court with a café plus a bookstore, whilst up a level you can find mainly clothes shops and free-use toilets. The latter is arguably the biggest draw card for locals, however, it's not a bad place to drop in if your short of ladies' underwear.
