Akwarela Cafe

  Rynek 6      (+48) 81 534 64 09     more than a year ago
A quaint little café on the main square of old town, Akwarela is the kind of café you’d find your grandma drinking tea and reading a book in - small, cozy, stuffed toys and lots of fresh flowers. In fact, the floral theme extends to the woven upholstery and other bits and pieces - something that the more mature crowd can appreciate, as opposed to your average teen hipster who is looking a crate and an aeropress coffee. It namesake, Polish for ‘watercolour’, refers to its part-time gallery status, exhibiting those kind of  works from local artists. There is a small menu of food, consisting of cakes and some simple Polish dishes. Again, this is quite restrained affair, and waiters flying around with big families yelling orders would ruin the vibe. For this reason, we recommend Akwalera for Lublin visitors who are looking for some piece and quiet with their tea or coffee!
