St. Michael's Church

St. Michael the Archangel in Gniezno - founded in the 13th century, the present church from the beginning of the 15th century, restored after 1613, rebuilt in 1811-1815, a neo-baroque tower from 1900, according to Knothe's design, in a gothic, three-nave, hall church. The church together with the two churches of St. Nicholas and St. Ducha belonged to the former suburb of Wójtostwo.

Inside there is a gothic baptismal font in the shape of a sandstone chalice, a crucifix from the first half of the 16th century. In the presbytery, holes drilled in brick are characteristic, as well as a rib vault, a gothic rood arch. On the ribs of the vault, rainbow, brackets and keystones, sculptural decoration made of artificial stone with hunting scenes. There are three bells in the tower: one from 1820, two from 1838. The choir is supported by two columns from the 19th century. The main baroque altar from the 18th century.
